Valencienne lace plaque rings. Each of these rings is made from scratch, never cast, so you can be sure that each one is completely individual, made from it's own little piece of Derbyshire lace. The art of creating the lace patterns is sadly now lost, so all the designs you'll see here are from throughout Cluny Lace's company history. All rings in this range are £50 to order. If you like a particular lace pattern, I'm happy to recreate it for you - bear in mind it will be a one-off though!
This sodalite necklace is in a slightly different setting to the one shown below. Still made with the same high grade stones, and set in 935 silver with a satin ribbon, this is priced at £65.
Valencienne lace necklace. This sterlng silver necklet is imprinted with lace made here in Derbyshire by Cluny Lace, using 19th century machines and methods. These Victorian style necklets are quite short, sitting just in the little hollow on your collarbone, VERY ladylike :) Oxidised sterling silver, Swarovski pearls and crystals, with satin ribbon and an oxidised sterling silver hook clasp. Valencienne lace rings. Oxidised sterling silver imprints of Valencienne lace made by Cluny Lace in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. I LOVED making these, a very satisfying combination of the history geek in me and modern, wearable jewellery. Band priced at £45, pearl wire plaque priced at £65.
Oxidised sterling silver moonstone ring...the ring band is made from thick oval wire so it feels hugely silky smooth when you wear it. Absolutely love this one. Text necklace. This is a labour of love! The pearl wired pendant contains part of a page on an 1881 New Testament (so will change slightly with each one made!) and a strip of one of Cluny Lace's Valencienne patterns. Strung on satin ribbon with a pearl wire toggle clasp. In the same style as the other necklets, it's quite short, sitting along the collarbone.
