Welcome to code - silver, stone, glass, silk, lace and found object jewellery created in Derbyshire by Rachel Watson

New sister site is now up and running - visit beaushambles once you've had a look around here...

Whether you're looking for a ring, braceletnecklace or a pair of earrings, please browse using the links on the right.  If you'd like to commission something special, I'm more than happy to work with you to design a piece, whether it's for a birthday, Christmas, Mother's (or Father's!) Day, St. Valentine's Day, a wedding or just because.

Most of my jewellery uses sterling silver, but I also use fine silver, copper, silk, lace and other textiles, as well as bits of old books, beach glass and beads.  Semi-precious stones also feature - amethyst, amber, aquamarine, sodalite and moonstone among others - along with freshwater pearls in all sorts of colours.  If you have a particular stone in mind, or would like to revive an old piece of jewellery, please get in touch using the contact form and we can discuss what you'd like to create.

A lot of my work at the moment has a Victorian vintage look to it.  Alongside that, there's also my Coast collection, created earlier this year for the Connect 08 exhibition, and I'm getting back into beading too - my beaded designs are available to buy online at beaushambles .

The Banks' Mill Open Studios went really well, lots of great feedback and comments about my new work.  I'll be adding images of my new work in the next day or two, so keep looking.
